Catherine A. Cavella is of counsel with the firm and focuses her practice on trademarks, servicemarks and copyrights.

Ms. Cavella has advised clients on the registration, defense and licensing of trademarks, servicemarks and copyrights for nearly 20 years. 

She has represented businesses, artists and authors in a variety of intellectual property matters and combines her legal expertise with practical insights on brand and intellectual property management for start-up and established companies.

Ms. Cavella is a member of the American Bar Associations Intellectual Property Section and the American Intellectual Property Law Association. 

An accomplished musician, Ms. Cavella graduated from the California State University Long Beach summa cum laude with a degree in cello performance. She attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles where she focused on trademark, copyright and corporate law.

In her spare time, Catherine performs with various nationally and internationally known groups.
